Hello nico,
no, not me, but "powered by: brendan.d.burns".
By the way: brendan updated another two versions. As always the latest version in the first post of this topic .

Hey guys,
 *push*
brendan worked this out to Beta Stage:
| Quote: | Hey Folks,
I'm announcing the first beta release of DroidDraw. Yes, yes, I
finally decided I was beyond Alpha stages...
For those who are just tuning in to Android, DroidDraw is a drag n'
drop GUI designer/creator which simplifies the task of creating
Android .xml files.
Anyhow, DroidDraw r1b1 is now available from:
http://www.droiddraw.org
As always, please send donations/bugs/feature requests to me!
Thanks (and Happy New Year!)

Kudos to the creator of this online tool...its helpful...
I have some gripes though:
1. I notice your "Properties" is in such a way that i have to scroll horizontally to see and modify a View's setting. Would it be possible to put them in a more visually organized manner like in a ListView of something similar.
2. I notice you have you also have your controls tossed around in that box up there...For organization you could just make them tiny slectable icons so they can all be visually displayed on-screen for easy access.
3. What does the 2nd tab do...the items in it are always disabled..i figure you are still working on it.
I am very much appreciative for this tool regardless, but just had to give my 2c in case someone was looking for ideas to improve it. |

I have nothing but praises for this application. I actually used DroidDraw to learn how the XML worked in Android since the tutorials/reference weren't as detailed as I'd like. It definitely saved me a ton of time and is just an awesome idea and execution. I can definitely see this being picked as one of the top 50 so all that hard work will pay off. Good luck! _________________
