Wow, this is one of the best apps I've seen so far. I think it will do great because it takes something that normally isn't all that exciting on a cell phone and makes it a "must have" app. Great job and good luck!

Nice calculator with a great UI. I wish this were the default calculator app of all android phones. Definitely deserves the prize.

hi everybody, long time no see. today I release handyCalc v0.3

- Great improvement in solving equations, based on Newton method, now solves much faster and finds more roots. (the math core now implements the derivative)
- Improved graph animation, which is more smooth and does not blink now.
- Several improvements.

This is by far the easiest and most useful calculator I have so far had the pleasure of using in any environment. And despite it being just a calculator, it's one of those cool factor apps that look great and function so amazingly well that you absolutely have to have it.

I hope that you keep up the great work and make many more awesome apps for android. Don't be discouraged by the fact that you didn't win the challenge when you clearly should have. After all, you can charge a reasonable amount and people will vote with their wallets. And with your amazing quality work, I don't think you will be disappointed.

This is epic. I will be throwing away my TI-89 when I get my Android. smaller, and more functionality.

easier to use as well. graphing was always my weakness on the TI calcs.

Hi plusminus,

I know there is a long time since the last update. But since I don't
have much time working on it, I intend to release a version with no
new features but some tiny improvements on UI and bugs fixed soon(this
week I think). The apk will be working on 1.0 SDK.

Regards,
mmin

It will be good if the author of this wonderful calculator app releases it sources in GPL, so if he do not have time to keep it, other will do.
